Mahikari Exposed

The information found on this site has been put together by former members of Sukyo Mahikari. We have endeavoured to portray an accurate view of Mahikari teachings sourced from their own publications and through articles written by long term members. Some names are a 'nom de plume' or pen name for former members who wanted their story told.

Also included are personal experiences, references to academic publications about (Sukyo) Mahikari, newspaper reports, and other helpful web sites.

Many people throughout the world have survived the Mahikari experience.
It is our sincere hope that this site will be used to gain tools of survival, not only from Mahikari but similar groups which rob people of the ability to make life choices.

Discussion Blogs.....13 March 06

Over the last several months people with long term exposure to Mahikari have started to talk about their experiences, thoughts and feelings. Please feel free to join the discussions, you can use a nom de plume to remain anonymous. This is a great way of dealing with the unresolved issues after making the courageous move to leave Mahikari and rebuild your life. If you have made a successful transition out of the sect, this is an ideal way of extending a helping hand and sharing your experience.
